Hi. My name is Pete. I'm originally from the People's Democratic Republic of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, but now I live in Georgia. In the time since I started this blog I have served an additional two years in the U.S. Navy (bringing the total to five years), I have married a beautiful local girl, I have deployed to Afghanistan, I have survived a plane crash, I have reconnected with God, I have discovered an interest in politics and economics that I never thought I would have, and I have totally slacked off and not written about any of these major life events. Yes. I am a procrastinator. Or perhaps I have just been too busy living to be a slave to the keyboard. Such is life...
